End User License and Services Agreement

Effective Date: 1 September 2025

Please read this End User License and Services Agreement ("Terms") carefully before using the website located at self.space ("Website") or the self-portrait photostudio ("Studio"), operated by Self.Space or its direct or indirect affiliates ("Self.Space", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms apply to: 

all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Website; and

all potential and actual customers who visit or use the Studio.

Your access to and use of the Website and (or) the Studio is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website and (or) the Studio.

1. Eligibility

To use the Website and (or) the Studio, you must: 

be at least 18 years old; 

not have had your account previously suspended or removed by Self.Space; 

not be a politically exposed person (as defined under applicable anti-money laundering laws) or listed on any sanctioned persons or entities list (e.g., the U.S. SDN list); 

and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

2. Registration and Accounts

When creating an account with Self.Space, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of these Terms and may result in the immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding all security credentials (e.g., username, password, one-time authorization codes) used to access the Website and (or) the Studio. You agree not to disclose these credentials to any third party and must notify Self.Space immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. 

3. Prices and Payments

Certain features of the Website or services offered in the Studio may require payment of fees. Before incurring any fees, you will have the opportunity to review and accept the applicable charges.

Self.Space reserves the right to determine pricing for any features of the Website or services in the Studio. While we will make reasonable efforts to keep pricing information up to date on the Website and in the Studio, we may change fees at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any fee changes via the Website or other communication channels.

Self.Space may, at its sole discretion, offer promotional pricing, coupons, or gift cards with different features or terms to selected customers. 

Gift cards may be used to pay for Services before the expiration date. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for refund, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

4. License

Self.Space grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive license to access and use our software (including the integrated AI-powered photo studio assistant) on an "as is" basis ("Software"). This license is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Self.Space does not warrant that the Software will be free of bugs, errors, viruses, or other defects. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Self.Space disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Services

Self.Space provides self-portrait photography services in the Studio, available through advance private bookings ("Services"). 

Bookings may be amended or cancelled at any time. Refunds, either full or partial, are limited, depending on the individual circumstances. Additional terms and conditions may be applied. Refer to the information, published on the website.

During your session, you may use the photographic and studio equipment provided in the Studio to create self-portraits during the reserved and paid time period, solely or with a company of additional persons (“Guests”). Number of Guests should be also included in the booking. 

You and your Guests agree not to: 

use any equipment not provided by Self.Space in the Studio; 

use the Services for any unethical and (or) inappropriate purpose;

use the Services in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Personal Data Protection

Self.Space collects, stores, and processes your personal data solely for the following purposes: 

to provide and maintain the Website and (or) the Services; 

to notify you of changes to the Website and (or) the Services; 

to enable your participation in interactive features when you choose to do so; 

to provide customer care and support; 

to analyze and improve the Website and (or) the Services; 

to monitor usage and detect, prevent, or address technical issues.

We may share your personal data with the following third-party service providers for the purposes stated: 

Stripe: payment processing; 

Sentry: application status monitoring; 

D7 Networks: business messaging and marketing tracking; 

Typeform: form management; 

Webflow: website development and publishing; 

Meta: advertising, marketing and analytics;

Sendgrid: email marketing campaigns; 

Google Analytics: user tracking;

Self.Space may use tracking technologies (e.g., beacons, tags, scripts, cookies) to collect information about your use of the Website, including your online activities over time and across different websites. This data helps us optimize the Website and improve user experience.

The personal data we collect may include: 

name and last name;

email address;

contact phone number;

mobile device unique identifier or other device identifiers; 

IP address; 

operating system data (name and version); 

browser data.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. We will not disclose your personal data to any third party except as necessary to provide the Services or as required by applicable law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed in accordance with the laws of UAE.

8. Liability

Self.Space is not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services linked to or from the Website. 

You acknowledge and agree that: 

Self.Space shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with your use of or reliance on any such third-party content, goods, or services;

you are fully responsible and liable for any actions and their consequences performed by you and your Guests, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Self.Space for any direct or indirect expenses, caused by such actions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Self.Space disclaims all liability for any damages arising from your use of the Software, Website, or Services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to These Terms

Self.Space reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via the Website or by email before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a "material" change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Website and (or) the Studio after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Website and (or) the Studio.

10. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or any rights hereunder without the prior written consent of Self.Space. Any attempted assignment without such consent shall be void.
